Have We Forgotten?

My heart beats, but not from excitement. From fear.

Islamism and fundamentalism are getting in fashion for our youth Whether Afghan, Turk, Arab or Pakistani.

I want to reach out and shout Have you forgotten the hungry Afghan orphans? Have you forgotten the tearful eyes of Afghan mothers? Have you forgotten the sight of a young mother burying her children, The children she thought would bury her?
