Some days, an Afghan woman tells us, even your skin does not fit right

Poems are like the blues - they let you get it all out and at the same time share it with others who feel the same and let them release their hurt as well. Well done.

No One…

No one knows how it feels to be so sad

No one knows how it hurts to live so alone

To walk on a dark path

No one sees when your heart is broken

No one cares if you have pain

When your dreams are taken

No one takes your hand when you are fallen

No one knows how you are

exhausted of living

or listens if you cry, “the world is selfish!”

No one loves a mad girl

No one wants a sad girl

No one cares if the cruelty doesn’t finish
