Gazan's Grief "Highjacked" for Internal Turkish Politics

Do you have this been here before feeling?
Instead of actually working to help people in Gaza, Turkish activists and the Prime Minister of Turkey now begin to look and sound like many Middle Easter politicians who have "used" the plight of Palestinians to bolster their domestic image of protector of Palestine, Islam, and Arabs and then once in power "ignored" actually helping Palestinians.

Erdogan must not be delivering on "pledges" to improve life for people in Turkey, so he is trying to be a hero without actually having to risk anything.

We've been here, seen that, done that before. Palestinians don't need new paper and postcard heroes, then need real support and peace.
